First, to understand my work, you have to know what I stew in. This exploration is a way to rejoice in what's discarded and reveal the leftovers that are so often kept private. As a visual artist I find myself in a constant state of blindness. I sit in a dark room, waiting for a flash of light that reveals what I've been looking for. I see the superficial colors on the surface of objects and when something's unusual, I pounce. My hope is to get closer to that quick flash of light and stay in the presence of it long enough to catch something queer. These pictures presented are an exploration of the psychological and physical traits of the human body.
